When I add conditional formatting > URL to a table visual in Power BI, only some cells are being randomly formatted. Has anyone had the same issue?
@Pragati11 Thank you so much for your time. I wasn't able to replicate the issue with fake data. (the data that I'm working with is too sensitive to share).
Hi @Anonymous ,
What version of Power BI Desktop are you using?
I am using the latest March 2022 version.
Thank you so much for your response
The URLs are valid. In fact, when i add a column to the table with URL icons, every single cell in the new column becomes clickable.
However, I've noticed a weird behavior. When I change a particular column that is a foreign key, from `First` to `Don't summarize`, all IDs are losing URL format and getting repeated for each item in the foreign key column. But when I remove that particular column, all duplicate IDs are gone and getting formatted the way that I want. The option `Show items with no date` is checked.
The relationships are formed like a star schema with cross filter direction set to both.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Hard to understand everything here.
Can you share some screesnhots around, how you have applied conditional formatting to your columns?
Hi @Anonymous ,
I don't see this behavior at my end. I am able to add conditional formatting.
This is my data with 2 columns.
Then I apply conditional formatting on Id columns using my URL column.
Can you check your data, if you have a valid url against every number that you are displaying?
