Hello 🙂
I have a filter (slicer) on my report for the expected delivery date but in a table we show the desired del. date too.
Now I have the question wether it is possible to filter the expected del. date and automatically only show the desired del. date of the same year without adding a slicer for the desired del. date?
Or is it necessary to add a slicer?
Thank you so much 🙂
Best regards, Marlene
you could try something like this. But i am not sure it would work for all your scenarior.
Create measure that is like a switch.

Thank you but this doesnt solve my problem 😞 because they are often not the same and should only be shown as the same when the filter (slicer) is applied!
I see. You could try something like this with a bookmark
basically you overlay 2 tables and you toggle between them using a bookmark. So when you want all records you use that view, when you only want to see matched you use the other view.
so in the pbix if you press the control button + click on the button it will change the view
see attached

Yes its one table. I want to filter by planned year and automatically filter the desired year too (desired and planned year should be the same)
Hi marlene can you provide an example so its clearly understood what you are asking.

I have this date filter:
and it is used in this table:
As you can see it filters planned del. Year.Week to 2022 but they also want that it automatically fitlers desired del. Year.Week to the same year als the planned del. Year. Right now you see 2024 and 2023 too, but it should only be 2022. Is it possible to do that without using another slicer?
Is it clear now what I mean?
Best regards,
Marlene
are both of these dates held in the same table?
so what you are saying is, you want to filter you table by the planned year, but it should only return rows that where planned year = desired year
