I'm trying to creat a tooltip using an IF statement where if the cost for something goes over budget, the tooltip will appear and display information. If the cost is under budget I need to the tooltip to be hidden but I can't seem to find a way to accomplish this. I'm only able to set conditions on the contents of the tooltip so if the cost is under budget, the tooltip still appears but with no content.
Is there a way to conditionally show/hide a tooltip in Power BI?
Hi ematheney, did you find a solution for this? Because even I am exactly facing the same scenario. If you found the solution please let me know
Hey @ematheny ,
unfortunately, the answer is simple: it's not possible.
I recommend that you create an idea on ideas.powerbi.com or upvote an already existing one.
Regards,
Tom
