Conditional Formatting of Data Labels in Guauge

Hi there,

I have a guauge which has total premium sold as the Maximum Value, and premium sold filtered as the Callout Value.

In this case, the 0 is irrelevant so I was trying to make the zero white by using conditional formatting on the Data Labels. However my rules are not making the 0 white, can you suggest anything?

My rules are below.

Hey,

0 in gauge represents from where axis starts so conditional formating does not apply to it (conditional formating is for value not for axis). There is no way of hidding 0 by turning off axis or changing color (the only way would be to create white little shape and put it on top of '0').

Hope it helps!

Hi! The conditional formatting you are trying to do here is going to change the label based on the measure you put in, so only if the total was equal to 0 would the label become white, and it would actually turn both the min and the max to white because the formatting applies to both labels based on the measure value itself. You cannot change just the min. Also, the 0 is important because it lets the user know where the guage starts. By default, Power BI decides the min, so it is not always 0. If you really want to 'hide' it, you can place a shape on top of it.
