I'm a beginner when it comes to query building, so all help is appreciated.
I need to create a column(3) that looks at column(1) and if it contains a value (a date), then it will look at the next column(2) and see if it contains a value (a date), if column(2) does not contain a value then I want column(3) to say "Unresolved", if there is a value in column(2), I want it to say "Resolved" ... if column(1) is null then I want column(3) to leave the column null or blank.
if column 1 is blank/null, NEW column should be blank/null
if column 1 is NOT blank and column 2 is NOT blank, NEW column = "Resolved"
if column 1 is NOT blank and column 2 IS BLANK, NEW column = "Unresolved"

Hi @x2kibail,
Try this one. Please also refer to the snapshot below.
Column = IF ( ISBLANK ( [Column1] ), BLANK (), IF ( NOT ISBLANK ( [Column1] ) && ISBLANK ( [Column2] ), "Unresolved", IF ( NOT ISBLANK ( [Column1] ) && NOT ISBLANK ( [Column2] ), "Resolved", "Unknown" ) ) )
Best Regards,
Dale
