Complex time query

Hello,

I have a complex time query and i figure out how to transform this in powerbi.

I have a table with subscribers, and subcribe strat time + subscribe end date.

I have a DIM date table.

I don't know how to retrieve with a simple slicer the following informations:

- All the subscriptions started before but not ended during the period.

- All the subscriptions started before and ended during the period.

- All the subscriptions started during the period and finished during the period.

- All the subscriptions started during or before the period and not finished during this period.

This problem look realy simple but it is difficult to solve for me !

Hi @Anonymous,

It sounds like a general multiple fields date range analysis requirement, you can refer to the following link to create expand the table with detailed records and mapping to the raw table.

Spread revenue across period based on start and end date, slice and dase this using different dates
Then you can create a slicer with new table date fields to integrate with raw table date ranges.

@Anonymous It will be easier if you share pbix file using one drive/google drive with the expected output. Remove any sensitive information before sharing.
