Complex 'What If' Analysis In Power BI Using DAX

Hi all,

I'm looking for some help on an advanced/Complex What-If Calculation using Dax, which I currently do in Excel.

I have two tables the same within my Date Model which both tables have their own measures and are identical as below.

If I make a selection from my first table as an example, I filtered it to the bottom row which is highlighted Yellow

NameFoodSalesvalue
Nick Miragliaketchup17

then I apply a What if statement  - this Person sold celery seeds instead of ketchup

NameFoodSalesvalue
Nick Miragliacelery seeds15

Then I need this to be taken into consideration in my second table - removes the first selection and adds the values from the what-if statement as below for the desired Output.

any help would be much appreciated it's driving me mental

Thanks in advance.

Hi @LRiley ,

I'm not getting how you are applying the what if statement.

Are you abble to share a mockup data or sample of your PBIX file ans expected result. You can use a onedrive, google drive, we transfer or similar link to upload your files.

If the information is sensitive please share it trough private message.
