Hi all,
I'm currently struggling with a problem where I need a cutoff date to be the last refresh date. I have a column called "EFFDT" which is just the date an action was performed. Furthermore, my overall goal is to get up to counts of how many of these instances occur in a given time frame. For instance, I might want to know how many instances of EFFDT have occured between now and January First. In a nutshell, I need to have a filter or process that seperates out dates that are after the current date on the same day in earlier years. It would also be good to know how to find the differences between 2 years such as 3/12/2022-4/12/2017=however many amount of years that is in a seperate column.
I'm a fairly new power bi and dax user so any information related to the topic would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
