Hi,
I have a table with values for various readings taken over time for various items. I have been asked to provide a visualization/reporting that allows comparing the readings of Item A and Item B in the same page. (Note: the two items being compared here are of the same type. For example; two pumps). I was thinking having two slicers at top that will allow users to select Item A and Item B (they are both in the same table). Is it possible to show their readings in a Line chart for example with one line for each Item (I am thinking dynamic selected value to return the selected item an dthen filter the line chart) but unsure how to make it work for two. I will try to put together some images to help understand the data better. WOuld appreciate any ideas/suggestions.
UPDATE: For now I have added two slicers and two line charts, one for each Item and have edited Interactions such that a given slicer will affect only one chart associated with that Item.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Can you share some sample data and the expected result to have a clear understanding of your question?
You can save your files in OneDrive, Google Drive, or any other cloud sharing platforms and share the link here.
Best Regards,
Yuna
@Anonymous , need some same data for this .Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
Another option is having a common table and userelationship. But need to check with data and output you need
