new to Power BI and curious if this is possible or if thsi isn;t the correct tool.
I have created a data model in Power BI that is pulling a ERP pricing from a Sharepoint Excel file
and a pricing eport from SFDC
my first step is to have a visual which should show me whenever there is an issue...
each file has the following fields:
SKU, Pricebook name, Price, Active boolean, etc
I'd like to have the first visual show me all records where these aren't exact
for example SKU ABC, List price, $12, Active all match in ERP and SFDC then it wouldn;t show up
but if the price changed in ERP and it was $12 in ERP and $11 in SFDC it would show up.
can I do this on a visual with two tables if I have a unique ID between the tables? currently in my Transform step I create a unique ID made up of Pricebook-SKU
just need a nudge in the right direction... I have done this in excel using vlookups and teh filtering but think this could be so much cooler in Power BI.
thanks
John
Hi @johnpw
With just the information provided, I would create a separate dimensions table possibly for all columns that need to be compared. But what the setup would be depends on the data. We will need a usable sample data (not an image), your expected result from that and the reasoning behind. You may post a url to an Excel file or a sanitized copy of your pbix stored in the cloud.
could you pls proivde some sample data and expected output?
