Compare two series of data in histogram grouped

Hello,

 

I have a problem, i don't know why my histogram don't work, i have two series of data with real and budget data with mont see here :

Its two table different, i just want compare the budget with real for each month in simple histogram grouped, i have disabled summarize, but i don't know why its don't work see the chart :

Hi,

 

It seems you have not created a relationship betwee the "Real" and "Budget" tables thats why you are seeing total of budget for each month.

 

As each month number is repaeting, you have to create columns with uniques month numbers for both tables e.g. 2018_1, 2018_2... 2018_12, 2019_1.. 2019_12. Then create a relationship between the two tables by using these unique columns. 

 

The visual will work fine then.

You can use the month columns in your table to create relationship. The relationship will look something like this.

I noticed the two sets of months are from same year so my earlier solution will not work. Pls see a step-by-step solution in attached document. This should work fine.
