I have 2 tables (table A and table B), with the same column headings.
I would like to combine them to create a new table (table C) with all the unique records based on the central_asset_id field.
As an example - if the data for table A and B was as below
Table A
Central_Asset_ID Column B
1 1
2 2
3 3
4 4
5 5
Table B
Central_Asset_ID Column B
4 4
5 5
6 6
7 7
8 8
Table C (after the merge) would give me no duplicates -
Central_Asset_ID Column B
1 1
2 2
3 3
4 4
5 5
6 6
7 7
8 8
you can try append two tables and remove duplicates in PQ
