Hi all,
I'm working on a project where we pull data from our server for hour-of-day targets. The issue is the data is exported with a new row for each hour-range value. For example, on Sunday, if 1am-5am has a target of 10, and 6am-10am has a target of 20, then we are given two rows. This repeats for every day and every hour range, for each distinct combination of customer name, account, shell, group, etc.
Here is an example of how the data sits in Power BI now:
The hope is to create a new table formatted like below. Each customer could have multiple accounts, shells, and groups, then divided by days, so it's important that each roll-up is kept to the correct rows.
I'd love some suggestions on how to accomplish this. In Excel it's a simple pivot, but it needs to be done in Power BI and I can't find a way that works.
thank you!
Hi,
Is it possible to share the excel file or copy-paste the data instead of image?
Rgds,
