Combining csvs using Folder data source

Hello

I'm using the folder data source to load multiple files, they all have the same structure, not ideally with 3 blank "info" rows at the top of each file. If I use the first file as the example when combining I get multiple invalid rows, as the below with diamond question marks between each character for some dates:

This obviously renders the data unusable.

If I use one of the "faulty" files as the example file when combining, the files that load correctly in the original example dont load at all in the 2nd example:

Just wondering if there is anything I can do aside from having to do two separate loads to have a complete data set.

For completeness, as far as I can see all files are identical, they are all csvs, all with the same columns and I produce each one in the same way.

Thank you in advance for any tips.

Hi @SarahESkells

Thanks for the reply from lbendlin .

The following suggestion is for your reference:

Create a csv file in the same folder as all other files with all possible column names (values are 0). Use this file as an example.

This should be straightforward.  Please provide a couple (at least two) sample files in the described structure.

Do not include sensitive information or anything not related to the issue or question.

If you are unsure how to upload data please refer to https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-provide-sample-data-in-the-Power-BI-...

Note: Do not use the "Combine Files"  shortcut.  Create your own process via Table.AddColumn etc.
