Hi,
Im struggling with the following, any help is much appreciated. I have a table called "Product" with information and a newly created Table called "Information" where some of the information from table "Product" needs to be placed.
Table Product
Name | Product Type | Amount |
Red | Bike | 2 |
Blue | Plane | 5 |
Black | Boat | 7 |
Red | Tree | 1 |
Black | Table | 4 |
Purple | Bike | 10 |
Purple | Plane | 2 |
Red | Bike | 4 |
Purple | Bike | 1 |
The data that i want to store in the newly created table called "Information" is the name and amount where the product type is Bike
(New) Table Information
Name | Amount |
Red | 6 |
Purple | 11 |
Thank you very much for your help.

Perhaps:
New Table =
SUMMARIZE(
FILTER('Table',[Product Type] = "Bike"),
[Name],
"Amount",SUM('Table'[Amount])
)

@Anonymous , Try like
summarize(filter(Table,Table[Product Type]="Bike"),table[Name], "Amount", sum(Table[Amount]))
If you put a Slicer of Product Type and filter Bike and use any visual with Name and sum of Amount. you should get this
Very much appreciated Amitchandak. Will try it now.
Thanks
