Combine two different tables that have different dates in one plot with unique date

I want to combine two tables, each of them has a specific date column and some other columns (numbers), in one plot with a unique date being able to plot any of the other columns that contain numbers in the same plot.

Table 1

Date1  Variable1 (number)

Table 2

Date 2  Variable2 (number)

The plot will contain Date 1 in the X-axes and Var1 and var 2 in the Y-axes

@Sandokan , Create a common date table and join both dates with that date table and use all date related stuff from date table.

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :
