Combine query results - without querying again

Hi all

when I use the "table.combine" function, it seems that the combined queries run again against the source.

I am looking for a way to avoid this to reduce traffic on the source systems.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Christian

@Anonymous , You can use union in DAX, if that can server the purpose

Union(Table1, Table2)

But all columns need to be same

One more question:

If I have one query which gives a table as a result, can I use that table for additional table operations?

e.g.:

One time I want to get a new table with distinct values.

The other time I want to remove some columns.

BUT: I want the query to run only once against the source. This is important, as the source is not performing very good and struggling with higher load...
