Combine Files Select Sample File not available in drop down

Hello, 

When attempt to combine excel files from a document library there is not option to select a sample file, it only provides the first file. 

I need a sample file to help me massage and account for all the different types of data. Why might this be happening?

I can show you the process if you provide (at least two) sample files.

Generally you don't want to do that.  Prepare a list of all the columns you want from these Excel files and then write your own append routine via Table.AddColumn . It will be much faster, and less wasteful.
