Looking at the picture, you can see how there are 5 fire stations. I need all of the numbers to be in the same row, so there's only one fire station. How can I do this?
@Anonymous , How are you able to show 5 rows. In matrix all same values should group together.
Create a column like this where you have fire station value
New Colum = "-" & [column] & "-"
Now use this, this will let you know if there is space of special character or take len
len([column)
put length and that column and unsummarized and check how many values you get.
Fix the issue.
@amitchandak I don't really understand what you want me to do. I'm new to Power Bi. I tried making the column but it just gave me errors.
@Anonymous
Try following steps in Query Editor:
1. Transpose table
2. Hold shift/ctrl, select the 5 columns with fire stations and merge the 5 columns
3. Transpose table again
4. Replace value (replace the merged cell 5 times fire stations to 1 fire stations)
5. Rename the columns

@Anonymous , I just wanted you add something before or after the text to know if there are additional character or use len function to check lenght to find out.
@Anonymous it is bizzare, is there any special invisible character that is seperating all these text values, may be in power query, clean the column value and see if that works.
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!
