Hello everybody

NewPBIe_0-1677660491674.png

As showed, Date Column is a Date but I cant's use it as a date in visuals. The source shows it correctly and In other PBI the field is also showed as a date. What is the problem?

Thank you

I followed both steps and it doesn't work. I just duplicated the column in power query and now it works with the new one

It looks like the issue you're encountering is related to the data type of the column not being recognized as a date by Power BI.

To ensure that Power BI recognizes the column as a date, you can try the following steps:

  1. In the Power Query Editor, select the column that contains the dates.
  2. Click on the "Transform" tab, and then click on the "Data Type" dropdown list in the "Any Column" section.
  3. Select "Date/Time" from the dropdown list.
  4. Save and close the Power Query Editor.

Once you have completed these steps, the date column should be recognized as a date by Power BI and you should be able to use it as a date in visuals.

If the issue still persists, you can also try changing the data type of the column directly in the "Fields" section by right-clicking on the column and selecting "Data Type" > "Date/Time".
