Column name reset

Is there a way to reset the column name?

For each field there is an option to rename a column name but once renamed you can't view the original DB name. I am working with a table having over 100 fields and I renamed one by mistake and now I want to reset it to the original name.

There should at least be a mapping showing old names, right? I'm a bit new to PBI

another option is just open the Advanced Editor in the Query Editor and copy/paste the code to a text editor where you can search for your columns on any line using a rename function

Hi @masterl

If you open the query editor and lood down through the APPLIED STEPS for any line that says "Renamed Columns" (or similar)

You may see in the formula bar the rename before/after (you'll need to turn on the formula bar)
