Column length restriction

Hi,

I need to load a table with JSON messages in Power BI (raw data). The end-user wants to be able to consult the raw data of these JSON messages (don't ask me why...).

The messages are loaded fine in Power Query. I have the same text lengths in Power query as in the source SQL tables.

But when I want to display the messages in a table visual, there seems to be a restriction on the number of characters.

For example: a JSON message of 7.138 is loaded fine in Power Query. But when displaying the message in a table visual, only 4.058 characters are shown.

Is this a Power BI restriction? I can't find any readings about this...

Yes, I believe that is correct, there are some third-party visuals for displaying lots of text.
