Color problem with Sunburst

Hellow everyone.

I'm having a problem with Sunburst visual.

I want to change  color in second ring to make a

different from years. 

How should I do ?

Hi @zws188,

 

Based on my research, the Sunburst visual all donuts' color are categorized by the inner donut. And there is no OOTB option for us to format the donut color manually.

 

It means if you put the fields into Group option like this, the color will be categorized by the Category field. All Subcategory and Area values belong to the same one Category value will be formatted as the same color.

In your scenario, if you want to category the color based on the Year field, you can place the Year field as the first group. In my example, is changing the Area field as the first group, see:

I simply cannot change any colors in this visualization?  What should I do or what am I doing wrong
