Color codes

Hi Team,

I need a very specific color in my PowerBI charts which I have the color codes from PowerPoint from.

The code is a RGB (red, green, blue) model. Eg. Red: 73, Green: 38, Blue: 128

Is there any way I can translate this to PowerBI?

Thanks,

Alex

Hi @alexbe,

If you look in google RGB to HEX you will get a page that allows you to enter the RGB codes:

https://www.google.pt/search?ei=zMZgWuuKLIPZwQKOnb6YCw&q=rgb+to+hex&oq=rgb+to+hex&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0i6...

Then just copy the hex code (top one) to your PBI, don't copy the #.

another solution is open a Excel worksheet, select a cell, fill in the RGB code. then you will see its HEX code. For instance, in Excel, if you select the color as Red 255, Green 0, Blue 0. Then Excel will tell you the HEX color is FF0000

@MayYu,

Currently this is not even necessary because in the February 2021 they added the option of a new color selection and is now available in HEX or RGB.
