I have two slicers in a report: Time Period and Year. If a user filters on Year then filters on Time Period, they will not realize they are cutting the data with both slicers. This causes misunderstanding of the visualized data. For example, if 2022 is filtered then the user filters Time Period to Last 12 Months, they might think they've changed the view from full year 2022 to YTD. When in reality, they are only seeing the data within the Last 12 Months that is also in 2022.
When filtering on Time Period, I would like to automatically have the Year slicer cleared, and vice-versa. Is this possible?

Hi @marksaba
Unfortunately, there is no way to "clear" one slicer when the user selects value on the other is not available.
Here is an idea about this issue you can vote for it, I did it 🙂

For now, as an alternative try to use dynamic heathers for the visuals which will show which period is selected.

Currently, there's not way to do that directly.

Thank you, Rita! I have voted for that option. My current resolve was to create a pop up message alerting the user if they have filtered on both slicers.
