I am trying to develop a training class scheduler. I have start and stop times for all empoyees shifts. There are 54 different shifts. My goal is to select a class time and duration and have only officers that will be available for the full class listed.
@Ashcraftbobbi , Create an independent Time table(Class Start Time) and duration table using generateseries (say in minutes)
Then you can have a measure like
Countrows(filter(Table, [Shift Start Time] <= selectedvalue([Class Start Time]) &&
[Shift End Time] >= (selectedvalue([Class Start Time]) +time(0, selectedvalue(duration[Value]),0 ))
))
