I am facing an issue with a DAX formula: CALENDAR in Power BI Desktop, but this error does not occur when working in the web version.
I haven't opened the file in a while, but now I need to edit it and it gives me an error. I also can't modify it, the relationships or anything because when I update I get that error again.
"Unable to execute DAX A circular dependency was detected: Calendario[Calendario], 9b3bc1bb-cce3-1a00-c758-644ece7343be, Calendario[Date], Calendario[Calendario]."
Solved! Go to Solution.
Don't use Auto Date/Time, don't use CALENDARAUTO
Replace the formula with Calendar = CALENDAR(DATE(2019, 1, 1), TODAY())
and reassembled the graphs containing Date. This solved the problem, a future without an automatic calendar used!
Hi @Crazket ,
Whether your problem has been resolved? If yes, could you please mark the helpful post as Answered? It will help the others in the community find the solution easily if they face the same problem as yours. Thank you.
Otherwise, could you please provide some raw data in your tables(exclude sensitive data) with Text format, the formula of measure/calculated column and visual Fields settings etc.? It would be helpful to find out the solution. You can refer the following link to share the required info:
