Circular Dependency using IF function

Hello everyone,

I am having problems with the creation of 2 columns.

The first one is the following:

intensidad columna = if(asistencia[total asistencia por estudiante]<1/3;"Baja";if(and(asistencia[total asistencia por estudiante]>=1/3;asistencia[total asistencia por estudiante]<2/3);"Media";"Alta"))

But, when I want to create the second one :

intensidad columna 2 = if(asistencia[total asistencia por estudiante clase niño]<1/3;"Baja";if(and(asistencia[total asistencia por estudiante clase niño]>=1/3;asistencia[total asistencia por estudiante clase niño]<2/3);"Media";"Alta"))

I have circular dependency problem.

To better understand where the data comes from, 

The first column comes from a measure "asistencia[total asistencia por estudiante]" and its expression is: 

total asistencia por estudiante = calculate(divide(sum(asistencia[Asistencia]);max(asistencia[Clase])))*100

Both "asistencia[Asistencia]" and "asistencia[Clase]" are columns.

The second column comes from the measure "asistencia[total asistencia por estudiante clase niño]" with the following expression:

total asistencia por estudiante clase niño = calculate(divide(sum(asistencia[Asistencia]);max(asistencia[Clase niño])))*100

Both "asistencia[Asistencia]" and "asistencia[Clase niño]" are columns.

Now, as I see it, there is no circular dependency, so I don`t know how to fix the problem.

Any help will be more than welcomed.

Hi @saritart1,

Can you share a small dummy sample? Please mask the sensitive parts first.

If you add a column, it will become a new context. So if you add new columns, they could influence the old one. The details depend on your data.
