Chart displaying incorrect values

Hi,

I have three different data sources that all show data over a 30 day range. However, when I try to do any stacked chart with these values, only one shows correctly with the variation by day. The other two just show the same value across all days. The one showing correctly is the value from the data source that I've chosen the "axis" value from. How can I show these three values on the same chart since the date range is a valid axis for all sources?

Thanks!

Hey,

not sure what you actually mean by 3 different data sources, I translate this you have 3 tables in your data model.

The behavior you encounter is due to the fact these tables are not related even all have a date column.

For this reason the values of the two table where the date column is not used as axis show a constant value.

I recommend to create a separate Calendar table using the DAX function CALENDAR(...) and then create a relationship between all your tables.

Here you'll find a little pbix file that has two tables and a separate calendar table.

Depending on the structure of your table you also may consider to Merge or Append the three tables into a single one from with the Query Editor

Hopefully this gets you started

Regards

Tom
