Chart did not display decimal correctly

The actual data in database (Azure SQL Server) is 497.60; but when displaying on the chart, it shows as "497.5999999997".

This looks like happened ramdonly. The same set of data (data from the sam SQL data table column) will display correctly in other points.

Hi @simonxiao,

Please choose your field first on Fields Pane, and then in the modeling tab, you can choose how many decimal places you wanna show like the following screenshot(highlighted in red line).

Is this a bug? The data saved in database is correct stored; and the data show on the label is correct; why the data showing on the chart sometimes is not correct?

This is because of the floating point.

You can solve this by using the data type: Fixed decimal number instead of Decimal number
