Chart Line: Large data set makes smaller data set almost flat

Greetings,

Not sure how to exactly formulate my question. In PowerBI I want to use a Line Chart.

This chart is for displaying test results. We have 3 columns of data

1. Test

2. Result1 (numbers are in the range of between 630 and 640)

3. Result2 (numbers are in the range of between 94000 to 100000)

When I put them in the same Line Chart data from #2 almost is totally flat because the values from #3

are just overwhelming the data set from #2. How can I make it so that this does not happen. Is there a away to do 2 x axis and 2 y axis overlap?

The only other way I am currently displaying this data is by having two seperate chart line graphs.

Thanks!

I think the only out of the box visual that supports is line and column. If you expect the values to be more or less the same throughout the usage of this report, you could always modify Result2 by dividing by 100 to get them in the same ballpark?

Thank you

I recommended this also but users do not want this.

Hi @yosiasz,

There is no way to do 2 x axis and 2 y axis overlap in line chart, the feature is unsupported, please review the following ideas and vote them.

Multiple Y-Axis on just Line chart / just Bar chart

Add secondary axis

Multiple Y-Axis on a chart

So for your scenario, you'd better explain to users, and the solution @jthomson posted is practicable.

Best Regards,
Angelia
