Changing tables in PowerBI

I have created a powerBI report. I want to change the data that the report is using. The data is about companies so I want to add a slicer which can switch between companies. The data structure or table structure of all companies is same. Just need to know how to add the particular Slicer to create a  report where we can switch between companies.

There is no column that contains the company names. Actually there are different company tables alltogether. So what I mean is I have around 10 tables each table consider a single company. The different table names are company name here.

To create a slicer for switching between companies, you can follow these steps:

1. In Power BI Desktop, open the report you want to add the slicer to.
2. Go to the "Visualizations" pane on the right-hand side of the screen.
3. Click on the "Slicer" visualization to add it to your report canvas.
4. In the "Fields" pane, select the column that contains the company names.
5. Drag and drop the column into the "Values" area of the "Slicer" visualization.
6. Go to the "Visualizations" pane and select the "Format" option for the slicer.
7. Under the "General" section, turn on the "Dropdown" option.
8. Now when you view the report, you will see a dropdown menu with the list of companies. You can select a company from the dropdown to switch the report data to that company's data.

With this slicer, you will be able to switch between companies and view the report data for each company without having to create separate reports for each company.
