Hi,
I am trying to add a trend line to a bar chart. The x-axis is Months (Jan, Feb, Mar etc.). And I know can add a trend line to a column if it a number (not text). I came across the following Cubes (SSAS) Date Filters and PowerBI Post which was very helpful but I do not know where to go in order to change the properties of the date attributes. Any help would be much appreciated .
I do not know how to get here .
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous,
>>but I do not know where to go in order to change the properties of the date attributes.
If you mean sort by month, you can add key/value properties about 'year month', then use year month as sorting order.

Hi Xiaoxin,
I am trying to add a trend line to a bar chart. But since the x-axis is Months (APR, MAY, JUN etc..) and it is in text format it will not let me add a trend line. I found on one of the post that if you change the properties of the date attribute then it will work. But I am not sure how to get to the properties sections. (Cubes (SSAS) Date Filters and PowerBI Post)
Thanks.
Hi @Anonymous,
Actually, I think it means setting column as key/value, use name properties to display name(text) and sort with stored value properties(key).
In addition, you can also post to SSAS related forum to know more about operate SSAS cube data model.
