Changing Data source

Hello

In power

BI, I’m trying to change my SQL server dB data source Data Connectivity mode from a Import to Advanced Options, but when I ad the SQL statement (it’s bringing back the same attributes as the table import, but with an added WHERE clause), I keep getting the following error…

‘The Key didn’t match any rows in the table’

I saw some Excel solutions for this about renaming the source worksheets, but can’t find a solution when importing from a dB?

Many thanks

Roy.

@ryand009 , When you add a query or do any changes, it expects same columns to come as next steps might me using those. You have to do changes in change the data type and rename steps

Some steps are discussed here
