Change the location of data source within Sharepoint

Hi all,

The thing I'm confronting is when I change the location of data source file within Teams, as we know we can open files from teams to share point directly and there can be various folders in teams within the sam folder name. For example my file is in Digital Projects and I change it to ICSA, still the link remains the same as GIA Internship is the name of whole folder, how can we chanthe location then in query editor?PROBLEM 3.PNG

Hoping to receive some replies ASAP.

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,

Diksha

Hi @Anonymous,

Maybe you can try to parameterize your data connector connection string, then you can change them on power bi service side to achieve dynamic change data source:

If you are using the SharePoint.Folder connector/function in your query (instead of the Web connector to your Excel file), you can change the step that has [FolderPath] = "..." in the Advanced Editor to match the new folder path.
