Change measure data category to Image URL while connection to tabular

Hey all,

My data connected to the PBI with tabular(live connection).

I wrote a measure that shows images(png), but I can't change the data category to Image URL to show them(In a matrix).

When I did the same without the tabular connection, it worked and let me change the data category type:

any suggestions?

@Anonymous , what error does it give?  In case of Live, does the source have any data category option?

hey @amitchandak ,

There is no error, it just shows in the matrix the url link.

The measure looks like this:

ImageMeasure = if([OtherMeasure] = <0.5 , "https://i.imgur.com/wBtN3b6.png"....)

I can change in the measure to only 2 different types: Latitude, Longitude

I had the same issue. What worked for me was to first change the "Data type" field from "Whole number" to "Text." Once I did that, the "Data category" field provided many other options, including "Image URL."

@amitchandak, Well I don't really know if it should be image url, but the image URL worked for me without the live connection and I mention in the earlier comment.

Unfortunately, the solution works only for column/calculated column and not for measures.
