Hello,
My current datasets are connected to a Sharepoint list. I am planning on migrating its source to a csv file from a VM. I have successfuly imported the csv file on my power bi desktop but it will take time to make another visualization and creation of measures. Both data has same structure but just different source is there anyway i can insert a step on source that will change from sharepoint to csv so I wouldn't doubling any work.

@Kalachuchi , Create a connection in a new pbix. Open Power Query, Right click on each table and Open the advance editor. copy the source information and replace that in the old file.
Keep a backup of the file.
Some steps I have shown in my video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59PUFuuCrbY
