Change colour of header and values to different colours

Hi there,

I have a table and I want it to look as close to the below format (not Power BI) as possible.

I know how to change the header OR the values, but it doesn't seem to allow me to do different things for both.

Is there a way I can apply different colours and formats to both Header and Values in a table?

Hi @JemmaD,

Thanks for the update and great job finding a workaround!

1.In Power BI, you can format headers and values separately, but header formatting (like alignment and color) applies globally, not per column.

2.Center-aligning header text individually isn't currently supported.

3.Your approach using Cell elements and setting the same min/max color in conditional formatting is a smart workaround for controlling background color consistently.

Hi! @JemmaD

You can change the colors for headers and then use Specific Column settings and change the color for columns.

Afaik, the headers color can't be changed individually.

@AnkitKukreja thanks I ended up doing this, how frustrating. Also, because I want to centre the text, but I am unable to do that when I apply a format only to the header.

I ended up using Cell elements background colour and placed the same colour in highest and lowest gradient
