Hello All,
I am connected to a PostgreSQL Database on Huroku. I can connect succesfully, but upon loading the desired tables I get this error.
"DataSource.Error: ODBC: ERROR [22P05] ERROR: character with byte sequence 0xe2 0x80 0x8b in encoding "UTF8" has no equivalent in encoding "WIN1252";
Error while executing the query"
I understand that by changing the encoding settings in to UTF* the issue will stop, but I cannot find where to adjust the encoding settings.
Anyone now how?????
Hi @NWBI,
Where did you get this error message? Seems Power BI can handle this scenario in my test.
Best Regards,
Dale
Hi All.
Using the postgres ODBC and configuring the connection in unicode mode on System DSN the issue is solved (PBI connection will be ODBC)

I have the same issue, any solution to that???
Hmm, some accessing data functions in Power Query support an encoding type (like CSV) but I do not see that for PostgresSQL:
