Cascading filters - making text box field the master search field

Hi,

I have a text box field for natural search within a PowerBI canvas.

I also have a data grid related to the search parameter above.

However, the data grid loads data before the search is executed.

I only want the data grids to show data when I have executed a natural search query - free text.

How can I do this please?

You could use ISFILTERED Function to create a measure like this:

Measure = IF( ISFILTERED('sample'[Index]),1,2)

Then drag it into visual level filter and set its filter is 1
