Cascading Parameters when connecting to a cube

Hi All ,

I am using SSAS Cube as the data source for my reports. I like the feature of cascading params in SSRS. Is that feature available in Power BI.

I have looked up the link https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/deep-dive-into-query-parameters-and-power-bi-templates/

but that works for queries only and not cubes. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

When connecting live to SSAS with Power BI Desktop, it seems impossible to cascade a power query parameter.

Do you connect to SSAS Multidimensional Cube or SSAS Tabular data?

Is the connection is Import or Live Connection?

Thanks. I am using MultiDimensional Model. Its a live connection
