Card Visual is Blank when using a Slicer

Hi all,

I have an issue with the card visualization.  It shows the total sales and total units sold for the year.  But when I go and click on a sales rep to see how they are doing indivudually, the card shows a blank.  It was working awhile back and has just started to have this issue.  Thank you for the help!

Can you get result in card visual if you only use one of slicer or filter to impact this visual? Please share a sample file with us. This will make us easier to solve your problem.

It's certainly possible to have Sales Rep filtered twice (once from slicer, once from a filter for example).

You'll know which items are supposed to be affecting the card.

Is it the same Sales Rep under the red pen? I think I would advise experimenting to get one slicer affecting the card and see if you can get a valid value.

Apart from that I would probably have to see the pbix to diagnose further

Hi @Anonymous @HotChilli ,

It looks like the reason why the cards were showing up as blanks have to do with the sync slicer option.  Since my data comes from two different data sets I used the sync slicer so when one was selected from a dataset the other slicer would select the same thing from the second dataset.  Thanks for help and suggestions!

First thing to do is click on the sales rep, then hover the mouse over the funnel icon on the card and see if the Sales Rep is being passed to the visual.

If it is, we need to see the model and the measures used please

Hi @HotChilli , it looks like the sales rep slicer is being passed through the visual.  But it looks like it is filtering it twice when I hover over the card slicer.  I didn't use any measures in the card just the data from the csv to see the total sales and units sold for the year.
