Apologies all if I am missing something obvious or a simple solution.
I have created a number of cards returning a total from calculated columns and I would like the option to select it and the associated table is updated accordingly.
Unfortunately I cannot work out how to do this without using a separate filter, I thought this would just be automatic but no joy and cannot find a workaround.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi @tonybrogan ,
I agree with @HotChilli. This is not supported in Power BI.
But there is a workaround based on button and bookmark like so:

I recently developed the Slicer Button custom visual that allows one to use a card as a filter (more specifically as a "slicer"). Using a bookmark has some drawbacks and this custom visual allows a card to be used more similarly to a slicer visual.
Below if a YouTube video demonstrating how to setup and use the visual as well as a link to the GitHub repository.

I'm happy to clarify anything that's unclear regarding the visual. I also have a blog post on the topic titled Turn your cards into slicers with the Slicer Button custom visual.
If you found this post useful, it's helpful to me if you give it a thumbs up and accept it as a solution!

Matt

Thanks for this, looks an ideal fix for what I need so will give it go.
I think you want to click on the card and the table visuals will update somehow but that's not how filtering works.
The card total will be a measure but there's no logic to how that measure will affect data in the visuals.
