Hi,
I have published few workspace reports to an App.
My client doesn't have access to workspace but she has access to the App.
She can see one report(RLS report) but can't see the other one(without RLS)
While publishing I gave her access via the permissions tab.
Also, the report name is visible in the App but she gets the following error.
Error:
Permission Required
You cannot see the content of the report because you do not have permissions to the underlying dataset
Please contact the dataset owner to request access.
Due to security reasons, I can't attach screenshots
Hi, @Anonymous
RLS is used only on Dataset, please check whether the dataset of the other report have RLS. Your client as a viewer cannot access to the data if there is RLS created in the dataset unless you assign him/her to a RLS group.
Please leave a message for any updates.
Best,
Paul

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the reply. None of my datasets have RLS for that report.
Thanks
@Anonymous
I am not sure whether you understand me correctly. To clarify, RLS has nothing to do with reports. It is only for datasets.
For your case, please check the RLS (See picture). If there are roles created, your client cannot see anything even you did not assign RLS to him.

Best,
Paul
