I've created a Matrix that is populated with data from a tabular model in SSAS. I want to change the number of decimal places on one of fields but am unable to because all the Formatting options are greyed out. Oddly, if I create a measure in PBI based on data from the model I can then change the format of that measure. Why are the formatting options greyed out for the original SSAS data?
I'm using the March release of PBI Desktop SSRS version
Hi @MoeCodez,
Was the model live connection? If so, I'm afraid this is expected. You need to change the data type in the SSAS server.
The workaround could be using a measure with the function "Format".
Best Regards,
Dale
