Hi Team, I created an organisation hierarchy and tried exprting it into a PDF file but it got imported but not the fulle report but a part of the report (what isible in the screen at the time when it was importing). I went through all previous forums and tried all options but still it does not work.
I istalled WebView2 and I cannot enable it in PowerBI as I cannot fine the option "Power BI Desktop infrastructure update" in the preview features section hwich is not visible.
I tried exporting using PowerBI online platform but it keeps generating an output saying "the visual does not support exporting".
My manager keeps asking for these outputs as PDFs and these system errors do not allow me to complete the task. Can somebody help me with a workable solution please?
Thanks in advance.
You could try increasing the size of the visual so that there are no scrollbars.
if I increase it then how can i get rid of scroll bar ?
Yes, the export is only going to export what is on the screen.
is there a solution that you know that can help me with ?
Hi @AGAYAN ,
Not sure what visual you are using, but you may need to change it to one that supports export to .pdf
Here is some additional information:
Hi thank you for you rreply , I am using the below chart type.
Interesting- it does say that the visual is PBI certified. You might try to get in touch with the creator of that visual.
It creates the PDF filed but not the whole hierarchy that is the problem. It prints whatever part that is visible on the screen at the time I give the export command to pdf. Someone said in another post to use WebView2 application. Do you know how to use it?
Ok, that is a different issue than the one I was thinking of. It does export to PDF, but only shows what is on the page. That is the normal behavior.
You could try setting the view mode of the page to "Fit to page", or possibly look into using paginated reports.
Visuals with scrollbars are exported in their default state. The visual displays all possible rows, starting with the first row. Even if you have the visual scrolled down, when exported, the visual displays unscrolled.
I tried every possible way but will it prints whatever the screen visible at the point with the side and bottom scroll bars. I tried online PowerBI and it said "the visual does not support exporting".
