Cannot connect PostgreSQL to Power BI. Stuck at the same error message

Hello,

I am attempting to import data from PostgreSQL to Power BI but I keep on getting the same error message below. I installed Npgsql v4.0.0, but still continue to get the error message below. 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was facing the same issue and installed the below mentioned 2 files. 

NgpSQL-4.0.10.msi

NgpSQL.vsix

Now I am able to connect PostgreSQL with Power BI.

Please refer to this blog to check the correct steps of connecting to PostgreSQL from desktop.

Besides, you could try to use used ODBC instead. Connecting Power BI To PostgreSQL
