Cannot connect Graph API to Power BI

Most of the APIs work in the Graph Explorer, others dont work because I dont have enough permissions. However, when I enter the same API url in Power BI it gives me "Access to the resource is forbidden" error.
I am using https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/security/secureScores as an example, which works in Graph Explorer but not in Power BI

Based on this article, 2 main reasons for that error :

  • An expired or deleted API key.
  • Incorrect credentials.

Open Power BI and go to the following section "File" → "Options and settings" → "Data source settings" :

In "Data source settings", locate the problematic data source. Once you've found it, select it and click on "Edit Permissions".

You will then have the option of modifying the identification information using "Edit", where you can enter a new "Access Key" and "Secret Key". If the current keys are obsolete, this update is necessary. Alternatively, by deleting the data source with "Delete", you can create a new one if the keys cannot be recovered or if you prefer to start from scratch.
