I updated my version of Power BI to June 2022 and now I am unable to change the background color of a shape. As shown on the screenshot below, I have changed the color to black but the fill still remains blue which is the default color of the default color theme.

The shape color is under the Style within the "Shape" tab, not the "General" tab. The black you're referring to is the Background colour of the shape, and not the shape colour itself.

I am doing the same as explained by you in the 'Shape/style/Fill' section to change line colour to white but still its not happening. The Default line colour is still blue.

It might be because your transparency is set to 100%. Can you reduce it to 0%?
