Hi all,
I'm try to use a few function like =TODAY(), CALENDAR and etc on Power Query Editor, but nothing is working like usualy.
For exemple: I created a custom column and type = TODAY(), and them the erro mensage is: Expression.Error: The name 'today' wasn't recognized. Make sure it's spelled correctly.
Also, I identify that the auto-complet formula isnt working anymore.
Have someone with these same problem?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The Power Query editor does not use DAX. It uses the case-sensitive M language which has entirely different functions.
Try using DateTime.LocalNow() instead to get the current datetime or wrap that in Date.From(...) to get just the date component.
=Date.From(DateTime.LocalNow())
